Inner thoughts – Man abroad

I can’t wait it’s only a few more hours before I land. Can’t wait, can’t wait. I finally get to see dad for the first time. I hope he recognises me. These people need to hurry up, I need my bags. My dad is waiting. I have got to go. Ah the fresh French air with a hint of dog excrement, just how my mother described it. Where did I have to go? Ah, this is the bus. Why can’t these people speak English? Oh, my head is paining me. I think I’m lost but these people don’t understand me and I don’t understand them. Where’s my dad when I need, nowhere to be found. just like the rest of the times in my life. Oh, I wish my mother was here. Oh, I want to go back home. Forget my dad.

The birth of a Hero part 15

Renato sat in his rooms with hundreds of empty bottles around him, a small black caldron sat in front of him. The two staffs that looked stitched to the back of his robe were in his hands. The staffs glowed all the colours of the rainbow. His eyes showed no colour and skin had an odd-ish pale tint to it. Strange word bellowed out of his mouth. The walls started to shake and all the books fell of the shelves that kept them. The staffs dropped out of his and disappeared back into his robe.

He picked up the caldron and emptied the fluid down the drain. He walked over to a shelf that was full of ingredients, he pick five bottles; heron’s blood, phoenix ashes, bats venom, magical water and elf tree sap. This mixture had never been done before so he was unsure of the results. He slowly added each ingredient and stirred it with a careful hand. Once all Ingredients were mixed in, a small smoke cloud of a skeleton appeared and disappeared right in front of his eyes. He rubbed his hands and said out aloud “Ah now that this is done it’s time for me to cash it in and get my date with Princess Maylyn.”
